DESCRIPTION:Join fellow volunteers to shape trails that everyone can enjoy.\nJoin us for a hands-on morning of trail work at Kirchner Woods as we help complete the adaptive upgrades that make this trail network more accessible for all users\, including adaptive mountain bikers. \nWhether you’re a seasoned trail steward or just looking to give back to the local landscape\, this is a great opportunity to meet fellow outdoor enthusiasts and help keep our trails safe\, accessible\, and enjoyable for all. Volunteers of all ages are welcome to lend a hand as we work together to care for this beloved community trail network. \nWe’ll provide tools and instruction—just bring sturdy shoes\, water\, and a willingness to get your hands dirty! \nWhat to Expect: \n\nTrail work focused on adaptive features—moving soil and rocks to finish key sections\nA meaningful way to contribute to inclusive\, sustainable recreation in Stowe\nTime outdoors with a great community in a beautiful forest setting\n\nPlease Bring: \n\nSturdy\, closed-toe footwear\nWork gloves (SLT will provide a limited number of gloves)\nWater\, snacks\, and any other materials to be comfortable with the weather conditions\n\nRSVP is required; please use the event sign-up form HERE.
