Birds, Trails, and Forestry Mountain Bike Ride – May 23

You know and love Cady Hill Forest for its trails, but have you ever considered what other aspects of the forest are important?

Join us on Thursday, May 23rd from 5:30pm -7:30pm for a guided group mountain bike ride through Cady Hill to learn about the birds and changing habitats within the forest. Audubon Vermont‘s Steve Hagenbuch will be our fearless leader, co-hosted with the Vermont Woodlands Association. We’ll talk about what makes a healthy bird habitat, sustainable forestry practices, and how the two intersect with the recreational use of the land and forest.

Meet us at the Ranch Camp parking lot off Mountain Road at 5:30pm for this two-hour ride. The ride will be for intermediate mountain bikers. We’ll see you there!
