Deb Martin has been a Director of Stowe Trails Partnership since 2008. After her many valuable and tireless years of service to STP, Deb has decided to step away from the board in order to have more personal and family time. Deb’s indefatigable efforts and breadth of expertise and leadership led this organization to new heights during her time with STP. She has worn many hats, in addition to her official role as Treasurer where she managed the financial aspects of our organization with endless scrutiny, precision and care. She could also be found leading group rides, collaborating with sponsors, members, and working on events. The Leaf Blower has turned out to be our most significant event and fundraiser, mostly due to Deb’s continued diligence and focus. The event has grown every year since Shelly Severinghaus, Deb’s daughter, launched the Leaf Blower with her husband Jon Severinghaus eight years ago. As some of us have witnessed, while Deb has led the charge to make sure this event goes off without a hitch year after year, the amount of time, effort and coordination she invested, was endless.
 
We are so grateful to Deb for all of her contributions, inspiration, and dedication to enhancing the mountain biking and rider experience for all of us. We will miss her on the board, but we know we will surely still find her on the trails, and likely helping out with an event here and there.
